"The one star review seems to have a common denominator...the conversion from Leawood Family Care to Advent Health. Dr. Lisa Winker and her nurse Jessica are 5 stars all the way but unfortunately the obstacles to even get through to the wizard (in this case the front desk of the former Leawood Family Care) has become too much of a burden to bear. Clearly reading through recent reviews, this isn't an exception but the new norm and sadly is forcing to move on."
"My father and brother both saw Dr. Jordan as new patients within the month. They were happy with the care they received from Dr. Jordan but will be switching to a different doctor because of the complete lack of responsiveness from their office and support staff. It took my dad weeks of calling to get his lab results and any kind of follow up. Dr. Jordan prescribed my brother an anti-depressant that he desperately needs but failed to call it into a pharmacy. He's called and left messages asking for a call back 4 times with no response. I see from the reviews that others have had similar issues. A family medicine clinic that does not call their patients back is as good as useless."
"I have been a patient of Dr. Winkler for 17 years. She has been a wonderful and faithful ally and has diagnosed skin cancers that were missed by specialists and other important issues. Best of all she listens and you truly feel she is a partner in your overall healthcare plan."
"They will not bill correctly a simple preventative exam meant to get % off insurance premiums. Instead, because it will fill their wallets more than a preventative, they billed as a physical. So if you intend to get a preventative exam, don't go here. They'll give you a physical instead. Corrupt business in disguise as a family care doctors office."

They make the process of navigating insurance and payment and getting referrals and prescriptions seamless. The physicians are knowledgeable, compassionate, and very conscientious. Dr Kerry Jordan has been my primary care physician since the late 90s, knows my health history and me inside and out, and has provided amazing care over the years. They treat you like a human being and not a number."
