"Upon walking in I was hit with a very strong smell of mold. The place is quite old. The elevator has bowed flooring and chipped wallboards. Going into the room you could see it was dirty. The couch has a lot of suspicious stains like poop or chocolate pudding on the seats and the armrest, and back as well. The photos don't do this any justice. The bed has a top cover that is polyester and has the feel of a curtain. there was a single bed sheet with a cigarette burned, and it felt like a blanket on top of that. Then the bed curtain. It was awful. The carpet made my socks dirty while walking around without my shoes on. There was no trashcan in the room. The remote for the TV was not original, and you could not look at the guide to see what was on... the scroll channels until the half-working remote made you give up and listen to sports until you fall asleep was all you got."
"Stayed here with some of my friends and we have nothing to complain about. The room was cleaned well, the breakfast was nice, and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back if I need a hotel in the area!"
"Don't like smelling smoke in hallways it's really bad. While unloading car people were also smoking by front door, it's a really bad turn off could they not make a smoke area away from front door as people are coming in. Bedding needs new bedspreads dirty and holes in them."
"Glad I stayed here. In past I had bad experience staying at hotels on interstate so this time I decided to go little away from interstate and I selected the Super 8 in Union which was 4 miles away from I44. The staff was very welcoming, lobby and hallways looked very clean, room was clean and beds comfortable, lots of choice for Tv channels, wifi worked fast, nice breakfast that included biscuits and gravy, didn't use pool but looked nice with blue lights in water, elevator was a plus. Overall a great experience."
"Rooms were clean, wish the breakfast had eggs and bacon instead of just biscuits and gravy every day. But all in all the Super 8 is a good hotel to go to."
