Marriott's Willow Ridge Lodge

"Rooms were very nice and clean. Entry/check in was very clean and spacious but there was a wait. Sometimes they have complimentary things upon arrival at check in. Did not get to visit the pool - hot tub area or the movie theater area. Even for off season this hotel was very very busy and the parking lot was packed. Although it offered a great location with minimal traffic when trying to enter and leave. You do not hear any traffic noise from 76, and you have beautiful views. I suggest getting an upstairs room as it sounded like we had a herd of elephants walking above our room on the first floor. Pretty decent price for an off-season booking."

"Really enjoyed our weekend at the property. We didn't have time to do any activities but they looked interesting. 2 bedroom villa was really nice. We brought the in-laws and there was plenty of room for 2 toddlers and 4 adults. The indoor pool was awesome! Exactly what the kids needed since they have been stuck indoors due to bad weather for weeks. Great location. Nice property! Can't wait to come back when the outdoor pool is open."

"The hotel reception was questionable. I reserved a room in advance, but the room was not ready when I got there. I insist on the top floor, so if they had to find a different room, it must be top floor. She acted like all was well while she found me another room, but when she handed me the key it was for the next floor down. A waste of time. She assured me no one was above that room (then why couldn't I get the room above), so I took the key to go look at it. When I got to the room the key wouldn't work. A bit frustrating as it was freezing outside and the room is in another building with outside corridors that act like a wind tunnel. I drove back to the office and said I'd come back when the original room was ready. Another person injected herself into the conversation and tried to find a room. This was the off season and there were hardly any people at the hotel, which has over 200 rooms. How could it be so hard to find a clean top floor room!? A third lady came out of the back room and offered up a top floor room that was clean - in the same building. I don't understand why that was so difficult. It seemed like I was getting the runaround for no reason at all. I wasn't even upset until a half hour passed and I realized it was a bunch of politics because of the rules they have to follow with it being a vacation club. I won’t stay at a Marriott Vacation property again."

"It will take weeks for our backs to recover! The “newly remodeled” rooms leave sooooo much to be desired when it comes to comfort. The head of our bed was about 2” lower than the foot of the bed. The pullout sofa sleeper.. was like sleeping in a cracker. Comfort was NOT a priority in this remodel. The location was extremely ideal and the property was beautiful. Lots of scheduled activities for the kids, but at a cost always. $5 here.. $10 there… IMO I think at a timeshare facility it should be included as part of the million dollar revenues. We do not recommend this facility. To top it off, I think Santa brought the army of children above us a circus for Christmas! They didn’t stop with the running and bouncing off of the walls and furniture the entire trip!"

"This was my first time at this resort and I have to recognize this is the best resort I have stayed at. It is not new but Management keep it like it is brand new. It is clean, neat, excellent location, spacious, comfortable, quiet and well furnished. There are plenty of towels of all sizes, in addition to enough pool towels so you never have to ask for extra towels. The reception is beautiful. The service is excellent. There is coffee and sugar. Plenty of family fun spaces, nice and good restaurants. The beds and sofas are comfortable. The pillows are too soft or totally wore but there are enough of them to use, so this is nothing compared to the excellent amenities available. The perfect place. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Branson. Keep up the good work."
