"The hotel room was great , checking in was seamless , whilst the pool wasn’t open the team explained why. I appreciate the hospitality from Kay he checked us in and the funniest thing he was also the guy we saw at breakfast preparing it ."

"The first room we were assigned had not been cleaned, linens piled on beds, etc. We asked for another room and the front desk people apologized and gave us another room. The second room we were given had the beds made but I cant say it was clean. The shampoos in the bathroom were half empty because they had been used. The linens on the bed were dingy and wrinkly. I was afraid to pull back the covers or lay in the bed. There were no ceiling lights which didnt help the dark trap house feeling. The door frame had gaps so I could smell the cigarette smoke from the people LIVING in the room a few doors down. I was very uncomfortable staying there and Im a pretty seasoned, tough ole bird. They did give a refund but you could tell they were offended when I said it appeared very dirty and the hill people living there were scary."

"Stay away! This hotel was disgusting. We let the staff know of the issues and they seemed like they have heard our complaints a billion times and just don’t plan to change anything. We had food and dirty towels under bed, floor boards torn up, plywood on as a window covering, gaps in the ac unit for critters to get in, the bathroom was gross, dust about an inch thick on the back of toilet, one of the beds folded into itself in the middle it was so old and broken…honestly we were very surprised we didn’t get bed bugs as a result. Dont stay here."

"Have you ever heard of the phrase 'lipstick on a pig'. That's what I feel that we got when booking a 'newly remodeled' room. The only thing that was positive was clean beds, thanks goodness. Don't go barefoot and inspect the towels. The photos for this location online didn't match what we saw in person. Breakfast options were decent, and that area was clean. The entire complex has just one vending machine that was pretty much out of everything. All of the trash cans seemed full and had trash pulled up beside them. After 16 hours, the same trash was still pulled up, so obviously, they don't have anyone watching it. The front desk seemed to be annoyed we were there and interrupting their phone time."

"Unfortunately our 3 most recent visits have had several problems. I really liked staying here until summer 2023. Our most recent visit in December 23 will be our last... unless the rooms gets fixed, microwaves are in all rooms, and I actually get the room I want booked. Thanks for the good memories in years past"
