"I have not had an experience as yet we’re going to be new to Butler, and most of the reviews are scaring me. After reading all the reviews, I’m thinking we will need to stay with our family doctors and specialists a bit north of Butler because we know the care is good. Just sounds too risky to change to Butler. As a retired EMT-I , I have learned long ago the reviews are important. All staff at any level should always be kind and not ever be rude or hold themselves above their patients. That’s what the break room is for, or at home, but not in the medical field in front of your patients."

"I went to Bates County to see a podiatrist. During my time there I was never made aware that I would receive two bills. I paid the doctor as requested but later received a bill from Bates County stating that I owed for the doctor using their facility. I am angered that I wasn't notified. I paid extra and I could have instead went to his own facility. Communication is a joke and I will Never use their facility again. I also tried to call the complaint department and have left messages with no callback"

"Absolute waste! Will NEVER go back again! Doctor was trying to negotiate with a sick 1 year old for like 15 min. Wouldn't listen to a single word we had to say. Made everything way harder, way longer and way worse than it would have been if we would have never even gone to the hospital. I absolutely regret ever coming here and hope that the funding really does run out for this hospital because frankly their patients will be better off forced to go to a real facility"

"I would like to give a big thumbs up to Dr. Joyce and his team. He got threw in the middle of my cancer treatment and problems. He kept working and trying things until he got it mostly worked out. Deeply in debted to the class of service offered. BCMH is lucky to have him and his team. He probably thought. I was a pain. Also the doctor and nurses on the floor was very friendly and helpful. I was miserable. A big thank you."

"This establishment is absolutely horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would! Went in for a wellness visit as a new patient trying to establish a pcp. They decided they wanted to do blood work and check my vitamin D levels. I now owe over $1000 because they refuse to code it to my insurance as a wellness visit. My insurance told me it’s covered if they resubmit it correctly, but they refuse to do so! And now it’s my fault that the person scheduling that day didn’t note that it was a wellness visit. I had the exact same blood work done plus more extensive recently and my Insurance paid 100%, same insurance, same plan. Bates county clinic is literally screwing me out of $1000 for their mistake. And on top of it, they won’t t even give me my lab results!!! So they want me to pay over $1000 for lab work that they won’t give me??? I work with insurance every day and they absolutely can resubmit my claim correctly. If this place actually cared about people they would do what’s right. This place and staff is a joke!!!!!"
