"Mapleview Park is about what you'd expect for a small park in a small neighborhood. The highlight is a bridge over a small creek, where you can birdwatch if you don't mind standing. There's only one bench on the trail around the park, and it faces the park itself (swings, playground, eating area). The trail itself is short but is shielded from the main park by a number of trees and shrubs, offering privacy and tranquility if you need a moment to get away. Mapleview is overshadowed by the much larger and developed park on the other side of Grandview: Meadowmere Park. All-in-all I'm impressed by the park and recommend visiting if you're in the area."
"It was a good visit. Not to get sentimental. But I actually grew up here, but we ended up moving away when I was about 5. So 28 years later, it was nice to visit that place again. Some of it has changed. We got to see our old house and elementary school. It's a good place to bring kids. There's a playset and a small path you can walk. It's a good place also to have a small party if you want."
