"I discovered Malaika Hair walking through the mall. I circled back before leaving to inquire about their services. I received a card to call and schedule an appointment for a consultation when I was ready. That was August 2023 and I have been a repeat customer since that time. I have been very impressed and satisfied with all of the services I’ve received. Prior to coming I had begun experiencing hair loss due to hereditary genes and breakage. My hair is recovering and thriving once again. The hydration and scalp detox are awesome and I highly recommend them to anyone."

"Prepaid for services and they said online you would be penalized for cancelation within 48 hours i called to cancel 18 days before my appointment due to relocation to another state instead of refund i was offered 258.00 worth of hair products and even after i declined was told it was nothing more that they could offer other than me to give my services to someone else in st. Louis or to come back to get my hair done because i prepaid... so needless to say i didn't get money back"

"Exhilarating experience right here in St. Louis. I received a Hollywood head spa treatment! I had a Deluxe Detox. I started off with a rejuvenating eucalyptus steam treatment. Next was the exfoliating Himalayan salt scrub, rejuvenating and tingling my scalp for 30-40 minutes normally, but I went for a whopping 60 minutes since I was celebrating my 60th, I went for the the royal treatment! Totally worth the extra $$$. To remove toxins out of your pores stimulating luxurious hair growth, I got the bentonite charcoal clay mask, really noticed less hair shedding. Next was the Apple cider vinegar steep, then ending a hydration treatment. It was truly a seventh heaven experience! Dezzy braided my natural hair and adorned 4 twists with some Malaika custom lock/braid jewelry! I left looking and feeling like a natural hair queen! Check me out!!"

"Not only are they super unorganized, they claimed that I didn’t pay for my consultation multiple times (although I did), they didn’t even have my appointment in the system, they were going to try to charge me 500 dollars for box braids (during my consultation), and when I said I didn’t want to pay that much, they instead said “Maybe you should rethink the size or length” and questioned why I didn’t want to pay that much continuously. They also were rude about the fact that I only wanted to buy an oil instead of a more expensive product after my consultation that I had already paid $50 for. Also, the place being new and “upcoming” and honestly very bootleg, those prices definitely need to go down and the staff needs to be way friendlier."
