"The people next door with the lawn chairs and grill have barking dogs! It’s 12:30 AM I’ve already called the manager, and they still bark. The added air purifier in the room does not take care of the pot smell coming from the barking dog people. Just inside the door is a rodent trap. And there are cables hanging from the ceiling so the neighboring rooms can have internet. I can’t believe choice hotels has this one under their name! Don’t bother staying here if marijuana bothers you and you have good hearing. Oh and the pool is nonexistent! Been under repair for years!!"

"Worst place that I have ever stayed. Check out the pictures. The room was not clean with cigarette ashes everywhere. No towels, shampoo, soap, or conditioner. One packet of coffee with no cups, sugar, cream, or straws. NO TOWELS. I got one card. They do this on purpose to try to charge you with items missing. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE."

"The room we were assigned was dirty. White floorboards caked in dirt. Obviously not deep cleaned as a pile of dead bugs came out from under the arm chair. Online it shows a seasonal pool. We called a few days in advance to confirm that there is a pool on site and the man we spoke to told there was one. There is in fact a pool, but is closed and completely green… that would have been nice to know that although there IS a pool it is NOT in working order. The “breakfast” was a few options of measly cereal, and the juice machine was out of order. The espresso machine did not work. Not a real continental breakfast so should not be advertised as so. Will not be returning on the drive back. The motel itself was quiet at night, aside from the guy who turned his motorcycle on and revved the engine 3 times for no apparent reason at all."

"Bedbugs!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Room 214 as of 6/5/2023. Reported to MO Health Department. Immediately checked out of room. Front desk guy was OK at best, he had no clue about anything and just stared at me like I was stupid when i reported the situation, and had to call his manager and whoever else instead of apologizing or anything because I wanted a refund and not another room. Manager came to talk to me and was straight up hostile, rude, and disrespectful, along with being dressed like trash and completely unprofessional. Refused to believe I saw bedbugs, running the bed the moment I sat down, and incredibly rudely said I was just mad about my room and lying about bugs for a refund. Worked in the hotel industry for years, have traveled many places and stayed in cheap and nice hotels and never ever ever had an experience like this one. Never even received an apology of any form and was treated terribly by the so called management, who is a terrible representative of Choice Hotels and this business. Entire property and pool were disgusting; Pool was closed and full of filthy, stagnant water, but advertised as open, and there were piles of sheets and furniture all around the area of the room. A/C in room was completely broken and filthy. Absolutely disgusting hotel. Somehow also charged me an additional 80$ along with the entirety of the cost of my reservation. Terrible start to a vacation, but that horrendous place is was worth leaving. Ended up having to search over an hour (no exaggeration, and it was 3 of us looking) for a room for our 4 night stay and we’re put in a terrible position by this hotel after booking this stay well over a month ago."

"I don’t know where to begin, the only good thing about this hotel was the rooms were decent. I had booked this room for my mom and son. I was informed that every day house keeping never came and she had to go to the lobby every day for towels and washcloths. The front desk was very rude every time she had to ask. The worst part of all is she had food doordashed to the hotel and never got it. I called the front desk for her and was told several times that they did have it and would bring it upstairs. 10 minutes go by and she hasn’t received anything. I call them and was told they never received the order like they stated. We do not know if they kept the food or never received it but it’s too coincidental that they told me they had it and insisted that it would be brought up then denied ever having it when it wasn’t brought up. And don’t get me started on the checkout, checkout wasn’t until 11 and they were at the door at 10:30 trying to get us out then so they could begin cleaning the room. I will NEVER stay here no recommend this place to anyone else. Their customer service is horrible and nobody should be yelled at for asking for more towels when you didn’t do your job or when questioned about missing food."
