"I used Con-Tech Foundations for the concrete foundation for a new 2 car garage at my home in Ladue. It was a very challenging site w/ the garage having to be dug into a very steep hillside. My project manager Tom Clayton went above and beyond. I'm not sure I have enough space to lay out how helpful he was from start to finish. First, he identified a major issue in the design that was overlooked by the architect and engineer. Had Tom not caught this issue the garage would have encountered serious structural issues down the road. Next, we had multiple major rain falls just after the hole for the foundation was dug. This lead to a large cave in and compromised the jobsite. Tom ran point and worked to pump excess water, excavate the cave in, etc. Finally, Tom ran point in pointing out issues the garage builder hadn't considered which subsequently saved me a lot of money. Fixing another design issue w/ how the building would be situated on yard. During the bid process, I had another bid that was slightly less. What I found out during the process is that all my other bids didn't include large costs which would have been tacked on at the end. I am so appreciative of Con-Tech being straight with me on the front end so I had a realistic expectation of what my bill would be. In reality, that lower price from the other guys probably would have been more at the end after having all their add-ons tacked onto the bill. Thank you Tom Clayton and Con-Tech!!! You saved my bacon on this one! You get what you pay for and Con-Tech and Tom Clayton are worth the investment!"
