"Underfoot has been wonderful to work with. I needed hardwood floors, refinished, and carpet put in a room. Not only did they refinish the floors, but made suggestions on the stain or lack there of in this case but made recommendations on the color of carpet. Now I am ready to get my home sold. "11/20/2023 - Spoke to Underfoot owner over the weekend and was informed the parts arrived. 3/6/2023 - Preparing to contact Underfoot Tile just one more time in an effort to solve this once, and for all. Last fall, there was some work done to try and remedy the situation, give it some time for whether to do whatever it was going to do and based on the photos, have several cracks and gaps once again. My only ask is to simply fix the problem, once and for all, and let it be complete and write. I’ve been more than patient, so this will be my last attempt before I finalize my review. Solution? The metal edging needs to be a single piece from side to side, that has been the consistent problem as the steps have a slight curve and the metal edging keeps pulling away from the steps, this creates cracks for water to penetrate and then you are only a season or 2 away from rework 10/12/2022 - Had to call Underfoot back again, One tile is audibly loose and the edge seems have cracked... again. This will be my last attempt to fix this as my patience has finally hit it's limits. Here's to hoping for the best. Almost Final Answer: Storm and the Underfoot team stepped up in an attempt to fix my problem, it took a couple of visits and some conversation but the steps have been repaired and it all looks so much better now, let's see if it holds. Thank you for the support and follow through on this, the 4-Star rating is as far as I am willing to go as this should have never gotten this far down the path to frustration. 08/05/2022 6:40pm CT This review may be removed and adjusted to the Positive very soon! The owner of Underfoot called me right away, apologized for the frustrations and promised this will be made right. Walking this out now and trusting this will be resolved very soon! 07/17/2022 7:16pm CT Anytime I share a post or opinion on Google I go through a process and take time before I'll drop a note when it is not going to be positive. What I will summarize started in late 2019 and finished in the Spring of 2022: Estimate was Approx $4k This was an outdoor tile installation that was purchase in October 2019 and was completed in December 2019. 1) The installer had to come back out to clean the files because there was a film that simply would not come off. 2) Fall 2020 some of the grout was cracking already and I was told someone would stop, take a look and fix it. That didn't happen. 3) Spring 2021, I contacted Underfoot again to review and resolve the grout issue and was told someone would be coming out soon to take a look, that happened but then no action again. 4) Fall 2021 emailed Underfoot and mentioned that my problem was still present and so far after nearly a year there has been no effort to resolve. I was told that the installer would contact me and fix the issue. After a few weeks the installer called, I explained the concern and discussed time and dates to come out but the Installer needed to call me back. Several weeks later I contacted the Installer and was told he had stopped but no one was home. I work from home, here 24x7 since COVID and I have a camera on the front door, the tiled steps are outside. The Installer was combative with me and never tried to reschedule, so at that point I was done. Spring 2022, the cracks in the grout lines have extended several feet now, step edging is pulling away, and other areas where grout is flaking away have shown up that will become a bigger problem this winter and we'll be seeing chipped or loose tile's in the next 12 months. The Bottom-line: Underfoot has a number of great products that they sell, but I am sad to say that service has been terrible. My expectation is that a company stands behind the products they sell and the installation, my product was under warranty and still I was not supported at all. This tile job was a test, we will be replacing ALL of the flooring in a 3,000sq ft house in the next few months and No, we will not be using Underfoot for any of that work and we will ultimately need to replace the tile that Underfoot installed. Very disappointed."

"A few months ago I hired Underfoot Flooring to install tile in my bathroom and laundry room. Overall I was very satisfied with the completed job. Kaitlyn was great - she was super nice and patient with me while I looked through all the different tile options to find the perfect one. She let me bring samples home so that I could lay them down next to my existing vinyl and make sure I liked how it looked together. The installation went great as well. Thomas worked quickly and efficiently yet still did a great job. I only had one small issue throughout the whole process and I felt that it was resolved quickly and without any added stress to me. There was some material that I was charged for that did not end up getting used. Luckily I’m the kind of person who asks lots of questions so when I was reviewing the initial quote I asked what all the materials were that I wasn’t familiar with. When the installer was there working I noticed that there was something on the invoice that they were not using. I asked the installer about it and he explained that it wasn’t needed because my house has a slab foundation. They called Kaitlyn right away to let her know and she immediately adjusted my invoice and apologized for the mistake. I appreciated the quick resolution. Overall I had a great experience with Underfoot Flooring and look forward to working with them again in the future when I’m ready to do the rest of the house!"
