"I’d originally posted a 1 star rating due to poor service and limited stock selection. Seems they have new owners. Current employees are responsive and eager to help. They are restocking more often and are seldom out of anything. I go there much more often now."

"We drove almost an hour to take advantage of their sales ad. They advertised Earthgro Organic Humus & Manure for $1.99 for a 40 lb bag. They loaded it & my husband noticed these were 20 lb bags. The young man helping said they had been selling 49 lb bags so he went in to ask how we could get the advertised amount/price. The manager wouldn't even come out to the yard. He sent the young man back with his response: "Take the 20 lb bags or cancel your order They aren't responsible for ad errors!" If it was an error how had they been selling 40 lb bags for $1.99? Not what we expected at all. So my review is VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE; DISHONEST about the ad being an "error" & TOTALLY RUDE about responding to a genuine customer inquiry. We will not waste time or spend hard earned money there again."

"I brought two high school aged boys to help me get lumber today. There was one person in the yard to help and he was probably the most polite of the bunch. He was the only helpful person there to say the least. We had asked if they also had old pallets we could buy. We had to go inside and ask someone there. I explained to the guys to ask for rustic/junky looking wood. So they did. They were told, "Yea, that's called lumber" sarcastically and that it was "over by the railroad ties." for 20 cents on the dollar- as if we should just somehow know where things were. I then go looking and tried to figure out how we even tell them what we want and pay for it. We had ZERO assistance after that point and no one was interested in assisting us what so ever after that point either. I had decided they weren't worth giving our money to and that I'm willing to drive to Springfield. This wasn't my first poor experience with them either. They're incredibly rude and after this last experience I figured it was worth officially reviewing them over. I've spent a TON of money with them over this past year and I refuse to keep giving business to a place that treats myself and my help so poorly."
