"Had been a Customer for a few years, recently called to cancel my car insurance back in February on the 18th on a vehicle we have not been using. Barker charged me $318 over a two month period "Claiming the insurance was not in fact canceled until I came in person to sign a cancellation paper" even though I had called 2 months prior to cancel it which was documented but never removed. I did call progressive insurance and spoke with an agent who informed me that there was NO signature needed to cancel and that it was just an in-house rule from Barker that they chose to do. Long story short progressive insurance Company actually gave me the money back that Barker would NOT... Over a signature to cancel even though I called and cancelled. Owner and staff were extremely rude and NOT trying to give my payments back. BEWARE"
"I would not recommend Barker Progressive to anyone. Changes were made to my auto insurance without any explanation which raised my policy by $600. My agent was never the same person. Just poor service all the way around."
