"This Hispanic chick with glasses was very racist and discriminated against my girlfriend and I by saying we ain't pay for our items even though my key pad after I inserted my card TWICE said it was approved. This dummy tried to say my card had declined because her receipt printer didn't work and all she had to do was obviously change the paper if she had unknowingly ran out. Also, she made me take out a whole $20 all because of poor training skills as an employee she evidently had shown. This exact location is a disgrace to the independence community and I won't be shopping here anymore. Management needs to hire more qaulified candidates who actually knows what they're doing."

"Hello I was going to enter into your location on 6003 independence ave kansas city, mo at 8:35 pm the store closes at 9. I was with my three children we are white. They lady rudely came outside and said we are closed while letting someone else out the store and slammed door in our face. We walked on to see her letting a black couple inside the store as we was in the Taco Bell parking lot. I just wanted you to be aware of the lack of customer service, integrity, and just all around discrimination that is happening at your store. I would of been fired from my job for doing anything remotely similar. Shame just fills me for this establishment at this time and my kids entirely shocked. "Two cashiers wich is good... Trying to get into one or the other line is almost impossible. Because of the impulse items stack against your back. So if someone wants to get pass you, you may have to squeeze yourself against the counters. Depending on ones body size.There is always one door open so, if someone is coming in or going out you have to take turns. Always empty boxes on the floor. Trip hazards. The store is generally in a chaotic mess. However clerks have been nice."

"This store is a disaster! Aisles are cluttered making it hard to get through. Floors are nasty dirty. The workers are very rude and most of the time don't even know what they are doing because they are new. Every single time I go in there there is someone new working. It seems like the workers don't even want to be. Ionoy come here if I absolutely have to. The manager makes everyone leave their purse behind the counter because so many people steal from there."

"The girl behind the counter was fine she was nice and sweet it was the environment around that kind of scared me. There is a loud speaker going off outside the building for the full strip area saying this area is being monitored with security cameras over and over and there's just weird machines like you could tell they were cameras but every 30 seconds this thing would just skip turn back on and telling you they don't tolerate shoplifting in this area is being monitored and then the front door was completely gone it was a piece of plywood was the door so obviously they had a break-in and the shelves were not stocked at all... luckily all I came here for was dog food and cat food but the girl working there was very nice... if I were her mother I would be scared for her to work there though"
