Trader Joe's

"On Saturday February 24, my billfold was stolen out of my purse at Trader Joe's on State Line in Missouri! I was shaken, I had just checked my billfold to make sure I had my debit card with me. So my billfold was on top of other items in my purse. It was not even 5 minutes later that I walked up to the registers to check out and saw that the billfold was gone. The Manager , Nathan Salyer, was unbelievable helpful and made a report to the police and told me to call my bank, he just calmed me down, and I needed that! So here I was standing with my basket full of groceries and no money! Nathan checked out my groceries and Trader Joe's paid for it! What a great service, you just don't see things like that anymore! All the people at Trader Joe's are so nice. helpful and smart! I don't know where they get their employees, but I have always been impressed how service oriented they are! Like they own the store! Of course they also have the best products, produce, wines etc. I always look forward to do my shopping there! Thanks to Nathan, I was able to keep it all together, I really felt they were looking out for me! People be alert, even in a great store like Trader Joe's there are thief's running around. Just watch your billfold and phones! Within an hour they had charged several thousand dollars to the Apple store and used my AX, Sam's, Bank card and even TJMaxx! Thank you Nathan and Trader Joe's for being so wonderful!!!"

"It is a nice store. The produce is excellent and they have lots of interesting food. Some things are much cheaper than other grocery stores (19 cents a pound for bananas) and other things are expensive ($12 for hot sauce). Not a lot of meats for sale, but a good selection of wines."

"The workers here are great. They deserve a union and living wage and the best contract they can negotiate collectively. The owner of Trader Joe’s is trying to get the Supreme Court to declare the Department of Labor unconstitutional just so they don’t have to treat workers with respect and share the fruits of their labor. Also, the crumpets are excellent."

"Edit. Updated to five star. Customer service is now excellent in store along with selection. Young lady told me exactly where to find all my items. Everyone has excellent customer service. Thank you for the major improvement. Called and asked about pumpkin cinnamon rolls a few days ago. Drove 3 hours and apparently pumpkin season has ended so they stopped carrying. ( I stupidly assumed when I called it was new for fall but apparently they started carrying this summer) Anyway looked, couldn't find, one worker said look again by eggs, they could be gone. Went back, still didn't see. I saw two employees sitting behind wine counter and when over and asked if they knew why they were out. A female worker literally ran over and yelled at me for disturbing training, then proceeded to act like I was an idiot for not knowing the pumpkin season was over. I left my cart of groceries and headed back 3 hours with an empty cooler. Cross them off my shopping places and Whole Food, Hy-Vee, etc where they talk to me as a valued customer. Edit again: Still top customer service. Last few times been outstanding service."

"The freshest. The Best vegetables and wine. Great vendor food selection. I didn't feel taken advantage of by the prices. Healthy Eating. Better digestion. Associates are always nice, helpful. I Love Trader Joe's."
