"Since when should you be forced to pay a recurring "membership" fee just to get insurance? And even if you just call for a quote, the first thing they do is collect all manner of information EVEN IF YOU NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS with them, i.e., you are on their mailing and contact list which they also sell to other companies for nonstop marketing, EVEN THOUGH YOUR NOT A MEMBER & do no business with OOIDA whatsoever. And customer service when you do need them is essentially non-existent. They might call you back in a day or two (After you've already got a better rate & insurance from somebody else). OOIDA is an information collection bureau, whether or not you ever do business with them."

GSC Lease:

"We have over 300 trailers on the road and today we added this agency/insurance company to “not used list”. We called in to check the coverage on our trailer that was leased to one of our customers, and our request was denied for no reason even we were added as loss payee and certificate holders. We cancel the lease deal and refuse to work with OOIDA ever again. If you are a trucking company a leasing company, avoid OOIDA, they are rude and very unprofessional."

"OOIDA is a joke they take your money but never help. I have had my authority for over 10 years. I have called OOIDA several times in the decade that I have been in business. They have never even pointed me in the right direction or given me a single useful piece of advise. They only care about money drop your membership and then they might start to listen. They need to represent us truckers and stand up for us. Carrier 411 and freight guard claims should be at there top of their list of things to fight for us. Contact me if you want to start a class action lawsuit against OOIDA or Carrier 411. Look up my MC 770935 to contact me."
