"There is much to like about this store. The choices are wide and the quality excellent. What’s lacking and seems to only be getting worse are so many of the staff appear to be deeply unhappy and that energy is passed right down to the customers. The Deli Dept is particularly bad with consistent rudeness and disregard. It’s pretty mind blowing. And you see this attitude sprinkled throughout the store. It makes you wonder who is managing this store and who is managing the departments. It all starts at the top and the top doesn’t appear to be in top shape right now. This really saddens me and for the first time I decided to do some shopping at Dierbergs. I always heard it was a genuinely pleasant store to shop in, and it’s true, the staff actually appears to like their jobs and are exceptionally kind towards customers. Imagine that! For now I’ll still shop at Schnucks but it’s with much diminished joy and tremendous disappointment."

"Great place to go! Sometimes some of the employees act annoyed, or disgusted. Not really friendly like other stores. The store atmosphere and everything that is available outweighs the way that some people act. The Chef at the bar is very nice. The people at the bakery are nice as well. Others are Very helpful as well. It’s a big store! I get it! Hard to manage every department. Unfortunate that there are employees who work there who might not like their jobs or the people they have to serve. It’s too bad. It shows!"

"Love this location. Everytime I walk through the store I am greeted with employees making sure I am finding everything ok as they stock shelves or walk by. Floral section is lovely. The guy was very willing to be hands on helpful but respected I was going to go about picking random ones. He offered a bag at the end. Made it easier for when I had to checkout. Checkout was great. Both cashier and bagger were kind."

"The best grocery store I've ever seen. Beautiful store design and a lot of grocery items to choose from. You need to check out their PRESCO restaurant in store. Even though I would love their service to be faster, but the quality, flavor and price of the food made the waiting worthwhile."

"This is the only "signature" Schnucks in STL, which means it has extra services. We love this place so much I don't know where to start. Great wine selection and assistance. Wonderfully made to order sushi by two very friendly staff. The made to order sub sandwiches are assembled with love, with top quality ingredients and toasted to order - way better than any chain sub shop! My wife and I particularly love the TWO grills. Big Greg makes a crazy good breakfast at one one, and Paul or Michael serve-up a wonderful freshly-made hamburger in the afternoon. Jennifer also is ever present with a smile and kind word. We will miss Cedric who just moved. You're gathering how friendly everyone is. This place is one of our family's go-to places for a quick, fresh, quality meal."
