"I will not shop in this location of the 40 something year old redhead chick is working. She is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Everything she does is just such an inconvenience to her and she makes you feel like your a piece of garbage is you need her to come to the register. What is she doing back there that's so much more important than doing her job. The rest of the staff is very good. Just the one that has no business talking to anyone with her judging eyes. ."

"I am only 2 minutes from this store. Every time I go in, the employees are nowhere to be found. Several times, I’ve bought something that rang up for the wrong price than what was on the shelf, and at times products were in the wrong place. They early stock the items that we buy on a regular basis. It appears that they are always out of stuff. Today, was the last straw drawn, for me. I pull up and notice the parking lot is full. I get out and smell a strong Marijuana smell. I look over and 2 employees were standing at the back door smoking something…..no one else was outside because I looked around. I walk inside, and see a line of people and no one at the register. I walked out, and I called the corporate office right away and told them everything. I went to another dollar general and do not plan to return no matter hose close it is to home."

"I always thought it is so convenient to have this store on 266, but I just encountered a very very rude worker that was sitting in the office. I couldn’t find her. I was trying to buy a pack of cigarettes for my son, who by the way is 45 years old? I’m 65 years old and she was so rude like I was bothering her to do her job. She had a very bad unwelcoming unfriendly attitude. I ask for a certain kind of cigarettes she said they were out and got a different more expensive kind for me. I said what’s wrong with the six dollar cigarette which was the kind I ask for anyway. She got huffy got the keys out, acting all mad and went over to get the other cigarettes for me that were the cigarettes that I want to begin with because they are the cheaper kind. Again I’m 65 and look ever bit of 65. She said show me your ID I said it’s in the car and it’s freezing outside. She would not sale them to me. I know rules are rules but…. Sometimes when your this old it gets a little ridiculous. Plus she wasn’t nice about it at all she was gloating. I didn’t get the cigarettes and will never ever stop there again and be treated so rudely. This was Saturday the 18th at around 2pm."

"Convenient store located on the outskirts of Springfield. They have all the items a typical Dollar General has but if you are from specific states or areas this one also has something you might not be used to in such stores, alcohol like beer and wine. That was a nice surprise during my stop here and I was able to save a trip elsewhere. They also had everything else I came for in stock. Checkout was simple and quick and the store was not too crowded. Overall, good store."
