Boathouse at Forest Park

"It was more of an experience than somewhere I personally would eat at regularly but they were busy so I'm sure it is popular. My black bean burger had avocado on it and was extremely messy and although not terrible it wasn't great. My daughter's sandwich was pretty good although she said the pretzel bun was a little tough. We got there early and before we were finished it had gotten really busy and there were no offers to refill our waters or to inquire if everything was OK and we finally had to go looking for take out containers and the check so we could leave. Again they had gotten busy and it looked like they only had one server and one person delivering the food. It was nice sitting out watching the ducks and they have a bin with food to feed the ducks and fish."

"The food was very good, I absolutely loved the pickle fries and sauce thar came with! The atmosphere is nice and there's a fantastic view of the lake!"

"Nice sit by the lake. The place is beautiful. Now, at the beginning of the fall, the decorations are so nice. It is well located next to the lake. During the day you can see people paddling in the lake, or see the sunset in the evening. Food is as good as any bar food. Plates are abundant and prices are fair. The servers are great, kind and efficient. The time for them to close for the winter is coming soon. It is absolutely a worthy visit. Would recommend, if possible, to go on a warmer day I'll be back!"

"Very convenient place to eat after visiting the Zoo. Not very many food options, website menu and pictures are not up-to-date. Was satisfied with my food choice Fried Cod and Fries. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere!!! A great place to take your date or family!"

"Their private event space is wonderful and their staff outstanding! We hosted a rehearsal dinner, followed by a welcome party and everyone had a fantastic time! We brought most decorations the day of and it was beautiful! The bride had a garlic allergy and they made her a special dish to ensure no issues!"
