"Tam sales associate (according to the receipt sales associate 102) so very rude and threatening over a $3.99 face mask. Apparently it’s corporate policy that is not posted and no displays are out, if you open it you must purchase it. I had to purchase a mask before leaving the store and felt very threatened if I did not something was going to happen. No sign, no displays anywhere on the accessory wall not to mention I browsed the wall for several minutes prior to opening to see the size of the mask. Manager on duty said nothing and stood there and watched everything unfold without intervening in any fashion. I purchased the unwanted $3.99 face mask per corporate policy and being bullied by this sales associate who offered nothing but a hostile attitude. Cato has lost a local customer that stops by at least 3-4 times a month and typically does not walk out without spending $50 or more. Thank you Tam and Mgr on duty for saving me money and helping the local competitors out. Customer service is important."
