"This was a good lunch place, but it was a pretty long distance to drive for us. It is in Pond Missouri about 35 minutes away. Good food large menu to pick from. I had the Big Chief burger and homemade chips. That was delicious and served in a basket. The service was great . Had another family member order a rueban sandwich they enjoyed that, too. thought it was tasty.. I would recommend to stop off at Big Chief, maybe on your way to a winery, and make it a day of fun ,food, and drink."
"Great service and ambience. Loved the drinks too. Food was ok. Liked the poutine. Brisket was dry and the ribeye was not that great for the price."
"I want to give this place 4 stars, but I just can’t. The server was attentive, and the food was good, but it took over an hour to get our food, and we ordered ribs and a salad. 4 other tables were sat after us, and left before us. The pretzels were yummy, very warm and crisp, and the spin dip was fire. I really enjoyed my ribs, but the salad sucked, point blank. The atmosphere was good, but it was pretty hot inside where we were sitting. Overall a good experience, but we probably won’t be back."
"The appetizer came out hot and quickly, it was absolutely wonderful. The smoked brisket chili I had instead of the salad was very good. The main course tasted amazing. The smoked brisket horse shoe was incredible. The fries were crispy and had a very good flavor. Would I go back, absolutely can't wait to go back and try another scrumptious meal. Highly recommend to friends and family. The atmosphere was very nice and there were plenty of TV's to view a sporting event."
