"Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She kept the coffee hot and genuinely cared about our service. She deserved all 5 Stars. The restaurant could use a deep cleaning but wasnt dirty either. Listening to rock music trying to enjoy breakfast didn't mix too well. The food was not just below average, it was a horrible tasting meal it makes its own case to not eat breakfast here. My wife ordered an omelet and sausage with hash browns and a pancake. I ordered eggs over easy, sausage, hash browns with sausage gravy and white toast 1. I received my wifes omelet. So we switched eggs, as i had my hash browns covered with gravy. 2. My eggs were over hard, not easy, not even medium. Who gets eggs over hard, probably the same people who like their meat well done. 3. The hash browns were so dry, like from frozen potatoes and cooked without real butter. Adding the sausage gravy to them couldn't save them. 4. The sausage patties we virtually uneatably dry. I raise hogs and understand pork. This makes me rhink of low grade poor quality meat. Like whatever freezer burnt sale item Sysco had left in the truck or there is some processor out there really mad at them. If it was locally grown, then. . . Darn it is bad meat. My wife even thought it was poor quality frozen patties. 5. I was for sure that having a slice of "home-made" cherry pie was the salvation for this train wreck breakfast, but I was wrong, it was just the caboose going off the rails also. My honest recommendation is to partner with a bakery. Buy a whole pie and sell it by the slice. Or at least don't use the absolutely cheapest cans of cherry filling instead of taking the time to actually make your pie filling, so you can honestly say "Home-made". A good pie crust is important, but if you have to cut the corner, there are several good crusts frozen that you can cheat with. Again, id recommend a partnership with a bakery. So you might ask why not just give 1 Star. And the truth is that i have a hard time giving small businesses 1 Star because they don't have the precision that the Billion Dollar chain restaurants can afford. But i do have an expectation that the owner can pick out quality ingredients, it is not a concession stand at the local football game. There are plenty of local producers and businesses that can provide high quality products so you are successful. Especially considering the price i paid for breakfast. In the end, the sausage gravy was good and the coffee was great. Its a start If you think this is too critical and you havr an honest different experience, then rate the restaurant to dilute this ine. . . Or encourage them to do better than the chain restaurants so we all win."
"Home town meals with a home feel. New menu and they added a loaded tot breakfast that is amazing. I love my breakfast here all day any day."
"New in town checking out places to eat. They did not disappoint. Open face roast beef was delicious. It is a small town diner..crowds of friends gathered and couples eating home cooked style plates. I will be back to try a breakfast plate soon. Lots of menu choices, daily specials, modest pricing."
"The food was excellent and was highly recommended by a friend we were visiting who lives in the area. She was right! Very good, classic diner food. The food also came out to us very quickly, maybe 5-8 minutes. The Biscuits and Gravy and the Open-faced Roast Beef Sandwich were great! The French Toast was a bit small and dry, but tasted great! Our server, Trinity, provided very friendly service, and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were still satisfied. We also sat around to let our food settle, since there weren't many other customers in there, and she did not try to rush us out. The atmosphere is great, as it seems like mostly only locals come there. We're glad our friend clued us in on this hidden gem! We'll definitely be coming back, next time we're in the area!"
"I rarely give 5 stars, but this restaurant was exceptional. Service, atmosphere, food and waitresses were all top notch. I would highly recommend eating here. The prices were also reasonable."
