"Went to the Jackson grille this evening with great expectations for a date night with my husband. Came away with the weirdest dining experiences of our lives. Service second rate and a 45 dollar steak slopped in a burger basket. The steak was very good but sawing through the wax paper basket liner to slice it ruined the experience. The waitress brought our food and came back to ask if we needed a box. Refilled my tea but no ice. If you’re not open on Thursday don’t be open on Thursday. My experience sucked. Stuck in room off lounge which had the atmosphere of a broom closet. We dine out for work frequently so we know a good restaurant experience. This was not one."

"Grace our server was great. Disappointed that we stood at the host stand 10 minutes before we were greeted. Salad bar was fresh and tasted great. My filet was very bland and I had to send my plate back because the potatoes and gravy were cold. My husband had the prime rib and it was fantastic. Music was beautiful but a little too loud in my opinion. We may try again in the future but I was definitely disappointed for the prices we paid."

"Came to Marshfield from Houston, TX to visit family for Christmas. My parents insisted that we go to The Jackson Grille for dinner one night. We came on Friday with reservations for 6. Randy one of the owners, met us at the front door. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had Korean bacon and crab ragoons for appetizers. These were both great! Some of our meals came with a salad bar and others could add it for $5. The salad bar was typical of what you'd expect of a steak house. The croutons appear to be house-made and were great as well. For entrees we were told that they had run out of prime rib, which was a bummer, as I was looking forward to it. Instead our 6 person table ordered everything from steak to cashew chicken at our table. I personally had the pork chop and it was amazing. A thick cut chop that was cooked to perfection and had an Asian type glaze. The mashed potatoes were fantastic as well and needed no gravy to cover them. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. All in all, it was a great experience and I'm glad we visited. It is unlike any other restaurant in Marshfield and is on a different level. I hope to visit again next time I'm in town. Hopefully, they'll have the prime rib next time."

"Tried out The Jackson Grille (reservations reccomended) in Marshfield, Missouri beautiful setting with a live piano player. Started off with the salad bar filled with all the regular stuff plus grilled chicken, homemade potato salad, and macaroni salad. I had a smoked old fashion that was perfect. The steaks were prepared flawlessly. Mashed potatoes and gravy were just like grandma makes. The choclate cake and the end was phenomenal. Our server was good. Kitchen was speedy. Great finish to a wonderful day. If you are ever going down 44 plan ahead, check hours, and reserve a table."

"What a gem in downtown Marshfield! Only open for 3 months but they are doing amazingly well. Food quality, taste, and presentation was wonderful. Live piano serenade as well. Better than average prices. I honestly don't know how they manage to do it!"
