Jimmy's Egg - Springfield, Campbell Ave.

"We live several hours away. Everyday we are hammered with their commercials of the delicious looking food. I won't lie we arrived with expectations from all those food images and commercials. We knew what we wanted without opening the menu and pointing at the pictures on the cover. I don't mind spending money getting what I see. Even though presentation is important, quantity is just as important. I feel my wife's fresh Fruit toppings were coming up short. My club was fine. It bothers me though when I see disappointment in my wife's eye. Especially when Bobbi set her waffle on the table. Will share the menu image and her waffle. Bobbi never did ask about her waffle. Only about the sandwich and focusing on it in conversation. Sure she overheard and saw me next table over while pointing to the image and sharing my disappointment to her of the waffle on the menu. What I thought was special. Was anything but. I can get anything but, back home. Pictures say it all. To clarify. There is no pile of strawberries under the whip cream. Way short."

"Good food but kinda pricey, first time I've ever paid $43.00 ( with tip ) for a breakfast for two. I probably won't go back for that reason. Waitress was friendly and it was a nice environment."

"11-19-23 This was our first time in and it was amazing. We got there at 8:30 with no wait. We really liked the relaxed environment. Just simple dining with great food. Our server was perfect. Polite but not chatty and even filled my tea before I could even ask. I wish I always got such great service. The "Almost healthy" skillet was delicious. And those cinnamon rolls are amazing. My husband and I each ordered our own meals but we easily could have shared one dish. The portions are LARGE. We will definitely frequent this Jimmy's Egg."

"We had an awesome experience. Honestly it kinda took me by surprise. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the Biscuits gone wild, the waffle for 55 and up and the Eggs Benny. Everything was delicious. Eggs cooked to perfection. Waffle Crispy. biscuit fluffy. Rachel, (excuse me, Lois Lane!) was an exceptional server. Although it was SUPER busy, we never felt neglected. Grandma's coffee was kept full, and Rachel was super charming. definitely recommend"

"Walking in your notice the familiar smell of home cooked food and the very inviting air conditioning. Cute and simple little diner with a hard to pick just one menu! Service was quick and friendly. I was called back to work before I had a chance to order so I ordered my country skillet to go. It was prepared quickly sadly it was nearly 2 hours before I had a chance to eat. However, it was still very good! The hashbrowns would have been perfect in the restaurant. I'll definitely eat here again when I come back to town."
