"Just like any DG, it's ran down and in desperate need of help. The staff was friendly and helpful but over worked, swamped and again, in need of help. In the ghetto side of town, robbed a lot and doesn't feel safe to be in."

"Usually a very friendly and clean store. Today, no carts or baskets, and when asked about them, was told they were taken away. I asked if I could use a couple of plastic bags to pick up items and was told there were small baskets at the back of aisles. I couldn't find any. Walked out, the person didn't seem to be interested in helping. There were no other shoppers in the store at that time (11am). This store is important to this area . Needs better management"

"I know Dollar general employees are overworked and very tired and it shows. To no insult to them I'm asking upper management for the love of God help your employees. Send a top dog or something to get the employees retrained, the store cleaned up, and stocked and fix their cash registers. They only have one right now and the place gets very busy and crowded every evening between 5:00 and 7:00. We need this store in this area and a lot of people without cars walk here. It's a NECESSITY! SO, please stop taking advantage of demand, and provide service! Again I understand, the employees are negative and don't have much customer drive because they are so OVERWHELMED AND OVER WORKED! Help your inner city stores!"

"I have to say this store has come a long way in the past CPL of years. It's good to see that corporate finally got a manager in the store that has done a great job with the store. Since she has taken over her employees she has working for her are great. There is one employee I would like to let you all know that this young lady is the sweetest thing she always brings a smile to our face when we come to shop in the store. She does her very best to make sure we are able to find what we need. And explains things to customers about products. I personally would like to thank her. I believe her name is Toni. You can't miss her shes the one with a cute little voice. Thanks again employees of dollar general on division in Springfield mo"

"There's a young guy with dreadlocks that works there he is the nicest most friendly and helpful employee of any business I have come across in a very long time. That young man is an asset to that company or any company for that matter. I would go back strictly because the store is like every other Dollar general but he is exceptional. Congratulations to him and his parents, family whatever he's got it figured out.thank you sir for being so friendly pleasant and helpful."
