Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House

"Let's start by saying the server told us they had just reopened and didn't have everything in stock when I ordered a blue moon they didn't have. The blooming onion was good - the sauce was spicy. The blue lemonade was tasty. The ribs were big and great- bbq sauce had a kick. Loaded baked potato which listed on the bill with bacon came with only butter and sour cream and cheese. My steak - the thing we thought would be great was over cooked and looked like it was a dry piece of junk. Since it was well over cooked - I ordered medium - we sent it back. The second steak came back better but took so long I was done eating. Not sure about this place as the bill was close to $100 and the thing we went for we had to send back. Left us not feeling like it would be somewhere we'd return. Especially since they didn't compensate for any of the inconveniences. Photos show 1st and 2nd steak... Not sure what cut the first one was as it looks totally different."

"I would like to give them a better rating.. There is a lot of potential there. Unfortunately, the fish was raw in the middle, and ALL of our dishes were WAY over seasoned. They tasted like straight-up salt.. We ordered chicken strips (tasted like salt so my daughter didn't eat them) with fries and bbq beans (she loved the fries and say the bbq beans were too spicy for her), salmon and asparagus (both the salmon and the asparagus tasted like salt) with fries (the fries were good. They are steak fries so long, thick fries), tilapia w/ shrimp and green beans (the tilapia had gravy on it and the green beans were bland which both helped to cut the salt taste down, the shrimp tasted like straight salt), and all you can eat catfish (raw in the middle both time and the asparagus tasted like salt). My husband and I both got the salad bar for an upcharge and the salad was old and soggy. I did like the grapes and Mandarin oranges. There was potato salad and a broccoli salad at the salad bar as well. The roll throwing was fun! They had a chef singer who did a great job. The inside is huge! They have really neat old signs and props of movies all over the place. Like I said.. lots of potential if they could just lay off the seasoning a little bit and not serve raw fish. The parking was decent. The parking lot is bigger, so I would say an RV could park and turn around there."

"Honestly, the food was not that great. I still ate it and got full. Just the over all quality was not that impressive. I ordered the steak, mash potatoes and green beans. The texture of the steak was the worst part about it, but the flavor was good enough to eat. I’m not sure if it was just cheap meat or what? The service was friendly. The hot rolls were the best part of the meal! Over all probably will pass on this place next time. The inside of the building is super cute, lots of fun decorations in the walls."

"Really! Really! Good good! The Catfish was excellent. The Ribs were falling off the bone. So good. Love the throwing rolls. Great atmosphere. Worth a dinner while visiting Branson."

"I've been here a few times before, and I've never been disappointed. The salad bar is small, but the veggies are fresh. My waiter was kind, energetic, and addressed my dietary needs. They have live music from Jeff Buckles. He wasn't loud and annoying. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes, salad, and fried sweet potatoes - I was hungry. The atmosphere was unique, and they kept it clean. Restrooms were also kept clean. I do recommend this place, but it is a little pricey. However, Mr. Buckles will gift you a CD with your meal."
