About the Business

Mundos Latin Kitchen and Bar

Mundos Latin Kitchen and Bar is a locally owned restaurant in Ozark, Missouri, specializing in delicious Latin American cuisine since 2020. Our hours are Monday through Saturday from 11AM to 9PM and Sunday from 11AM to 2:30PM.

One of our most popular dishes is the Colombian platter, featuring chorizo, chicharron, grilled steak, a sunny side up egg, fried plantains, white rice, pinto beans, and arepitas.

Another fan favorite is our fried plantains mashed with garlic and chicharron, topped with grilled shrimp and our special creamy cheese sauce.

For a unique twist, try our green plantain dish, flattened and deep-fried then topped with beans, pico de gallo, and cotija cheese with your choice of cilantro sauce, chipotle, or sour cream.

And don't miss our ripe plantain dish, topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, black beans, pico de gallo, and cilantro sauce with your choice of protein or vegetarian option. Come visit us at 5493 North 17th Street for a taste of Latin America right here in Missouri!

"Went for lunch with my daughter. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was very good. Plenty of food at fair prices, too. While they were busier than unexpected that afternoon, I thought service was fine."

"This place is soo good! All the flavors are new to me it's a fun place to try new things. Everyone in our party got something they hadn't tried before and it was all amazing. The Lomos Saltado was awesome. Our server Amanda rocked and made the whole experience fun for us. Go mundos!"

"Keep in mind that I have some really good points of reference for this type of cuisine. The food tasted okay. Could have used seasoning. We lomo saltado, and tamales poblano. The tamales were made from a very delicate masa which for a pork tamale, and the poblano flavor was missing. The lomo Saltado was better, but the rice hadn't been handled correctly and was crispy. . A lot of things felt a little too prepared? As in not made to order. If I'm honest, I have really high expectations so most everyone will probably enjoy the food just fine!"
