"Have been to this hardware store multiple times in the past couple of years. I've learned through experience this place has just way too high of prices. Went to pick up a few nuts and bolts today and they charged me around two to three times the amount I was paying at both Porters and the big box stores. You know it is bad when the cashier jokes with me about how expensive these bolts have become. That was an interesting experience, and not very bright I may add. They are also very limited stock for a small town hardware store, in my opinion. If it's something small, I recommend Porter's or ACE in Excelsior Springs. As for me, today was my last time in this establishment."
"The staff isn't very friendly and each time I've been the kids had no idea what tools I was trying to find, but they do try to help if you directly ask them for it. The store always has a good selection and nearly always has what I need. The prices on their end-of-season plants are great too."
