"I am honestly not sure what happened. One minute I am in the waiting room and the next minute I am in the dental chair grabbing ahold of the dentists arm and telling him no... no.... no... and pushing him away from my mouth, because I was shaking from the pain and tears were running down my face. My tooth (root canal) hurts more now than it did prior to having the work done. I am not saying anyone did anything wrong. However, I am not saying anyone did anything right either. Because I just don't know. All I do know is I am traumatized from this experience."

"Terrible experience. My primary dentist called over to see if they could get me in for an emergency root canal since my infection was so bad my entire left side of my face was swollen. They said the Dr wanted to wait 3 days to see me because he could not work on my tooth with my face being so swollen. Makes sense, sounds good. I show up to his office a couple of days later for my appointment, he does not do a root canal, he looks at my tooth for about 2 minutes, no X-rays no tests nothing, and schedules me for a root canal 11 days out. 5 days before my appointment and no has talked to me about an estimate. I get in sooner with Dr Burroughs office who goes over estimates and insurance with me, does a 3D scan, does a couple tests, is extremely kind helpful and gentle. I call to cancel my appt with Dr Putnams office and the front desk says okay thanks bye. Doesn’t even ask if I went with someone else, if I got it taken care of, etc. all around the whole office front to back didn’t seem to concerned or caring. Glad I didn’t get treatment there!"

"I've never been scared of the dentist, but my entire root canal I felt uninformed and not cared about. The doctor began by speaking to me condescendingly and rushed me into beginning the procedure. I cried through most of the root canal and had to nudge the nurse to suction when I nearly choked. I have a very small mouth, I know, but my face swelled for 7 days afterward, I got lockjaw and my cheek is bruised. I often felt through the appointment that the doctor was being needlessly aggressive. All that to say, I've never had a worse experience before and am now a nervous patient."

"Putnam got me in very fast for a root canal that was completely disrupting my life. I was describing it to my wife as someone constantly shoving a push pin through my tooth and in to my brain. Even with pain meds I was down and out. He did a phenomenal job, in and out in 45 minutes, the only “painful” part was numbing which is to be expected. After that I felt nothing, he was thorough, and I am no longer in pain. I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend him."
