"Revised Review: We have been seeing Dr. Shivam since 2021/2022 with nothing but positive experiences for both routine and complex dental care. We have referred others to his practice and encourage people to get their needs from him. I did have one unexpected hiccup with the billing company, which caused me frustration and I let this get the best of me! Dr. Shivam was fast to address my panic and resolved the issue. Office manager handled my unpleasant phone call perfectly! Highly impressed with the professionalism and blown away on how quickly it got resolved! Thank you so much UpCare Dental!!! … and I’m sorry! "Adding an update: It wasn't my intention to put this office on blast, however to add a few things, funnily enough after editing my review to a one star after months of waiting for correct paper work and insurance claims I get a call from them, then the office manager stating they'll write me off and close my account. Dr. Parbhu, had you offered to fix the damaged tooth that impacted over a crown being inserted that your old assistant did I wouldn't have been as upset and we could've moved on smoothly about treatment. Again this office isn't that insurance friendly if you pay out of pocket they may treat you like gold. However being under Medicar advantage, on low income living some of us have other options that helps us get treatments when we deal with other medical situations. We should never have to worry about a dental office closing our accounts and denying service over trying to get help for treatment with insurance. We live in a digital age and it surely shouldn't be this difficult to get correct information over to insurance so you can get paid and we can move on without attitudes over calling in and the patient being told there is no update or still the patient not even having the correct documents in their own hands so they could help make it easier on the office. I'd recommend other people under Medicare to call Medicare advantage and ask about these programs, it may convince the office to think twice otherwise it's just money they'll loose out on can't tell you the cost the dentist actually makes after insurance claim but it's pretty easy money they're loosing out on. I've been waiting since October for them to file my insurance claim. When I called to get the correct paper work some guy named T told me their computers were "full" and I submitted the wrong papers to insurance because they never gave me the correct ones. Which I made several attempts already to get from their new office manager and which I called two weeks ahead to try and get. I originally went in for one root canal that lead it to two extractions after they failed the original root canal, then got a bridge and two crowns which they damaged a brand new bridge and then caused a tooth to impact when they put in another crown. Didn't even offer to fix the impacted tooth they caused. I'll still stand by that the dentists seems like a decent guy, just oblivious to how he wants to run his staff each time I call there's someone new. Won't be back seemed good at first but after all these months of waiting, damages, fighting with insurance for replacements on damages they caused. I won't be back."

"Just visited UpCare Dental Clinic at Olathe for my friend's wisdom tooth removal procedure. The staff were super friendly, helpful, understanding and cooperative. When it comes to the procedure my friend said it was was swift and simple as she explained the root of the problem and gave a clear perspective of the cause and possible treatment as well as financing options. As a vistior waiting, I liked the vibe of the waiting room with the TV and remote for the vistors , the refreshments and the whole waiting area and cool decor. Also it was interesting to know that they cover both the dental and medical stuff together as a whole, bringing both the worlds under one roof. Wish they were more clinics in Kansas.
