For the more adventurous, the Ozarks Skydive center is right next door for those looking to test gravity. Don't be surprised to see the Kansas National Guard flying in with their CH-47 Chinook helicopters to enjoy a meal with us. "When you feel like getting away from the city and out to the country, add the Hangar Kafe to your itinerary. It’s unique in theme, site and decoration. And the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Located in a farming and cattle raising region of southwestern Missouri, the restaurant is on the site of a small plane airport whose active runway sits right next to the hangar-restaurant. Venture there and enjoy the unique experience! And if you’d like to give sky diving a try, there’s a school in the complex as well. Enjoy!"
"Saw the sign driving down the highway, and me being a pilot, we had to check it out. Food was good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great and we got to watch the skydive airplane take off a couple of times."
"Cute aviation theme restaurant in Miller. The food was good, but the French fries were a soggy mess. I was excited to have homemade pie, but the crust was very disappointing. Sorry, I didn't get photos of the food. We were starving by the time it finally got to our table. They did have a small buffet area, the food looked good. Our waitress was really nice but the service is sloooowwww. We got to watch people parachute out of planes right in the field outside the restaurant. They did have outside seating, but it was a little warm. The tables are a little crowded together and the chairs are not comfortable. The prices are very affordable. If the restaurant was closer, we would go back."
"Really fun place to eat! Can't wait to come back and check out the planes taking off and landing. I got the cheeseburger and it was amazing. Finished it off with strawberry rhubarb pie. My son had the chicken strip basket. He was very happy with it. All of it was good."
