"I never write reviews, but felt compelled. Owner has dogs that jumped and bit at me. There was short notice on need of a vehicle, but rented a vehicle with 200,000+ miles, check engine light on, low tire pressure light, and then overcharged upon payment. Response to my complaint was “there weren’t any other options in town” and “sorry for your displeasure”. Management wasn’t mean, but did nothing to remedy the situation. I felt I was in a forced position and taken advantage of."

"Sent an email inquiring abuot a vehicle on their lot. Two or three times. Got no responce no phone call nothing and its been at least a couple months and the vehicle is still listed on their website. With that and a lot of poor reviews how is this place even still in business??"

"We are a Towing company in Lebanon Mo. We towed an abandoned vehicle at the request of local PD. After getting the owner information back We found that Sedalia Automotive was the lienholder. I contacted him and negotiated the tow and storage bill down significantly to $250.00. I told him I didn't mind working with him since he was the lienholder. He then asked me how much to tow the car to Springfield to a lot they work with. I told him if he could wait a bit until I had another trip down there I would do it for $75.00 (normally $225.00) bringing the total to $325.00. He agreed and I sent an invoice..After taking the vehicle to the destination I reached out and he ignored my calls until I called with a different number. He then sends a check for $200.00 which we did not agree on so I sent it back with another copy of the invoice. I still have not received payment and after I contacted him he started yelling at me that I was a crook and everyone knows what I do.... I guess we will go to small claims court. BEWARE! ***EDIT*** We ended up getting this resolved after we had towed in another vehicle they own. The driver that reached out to us was very professional and felt there was a misunderstanding with the owners. They paid their bill with no further issues."

"If I could give negative stars I would. Very poor communication within organization both Springfield and Sedalia. I brought my car back under 50/50 warranty, costing me quite a bit, kept so long my temporary license expired, costing fine. The repairs literally could have killed us or others, with actual bolts not even replaced. Totally had to pay out of pocket to completely start over with repairs. HORRIBLE ! PLACE"

"Too pricey! 520+ dollars for a 2 day rental! Also, returning the car early made no difference! We were stranded at Concordia MO due to our van's mechanical failure. I really believe that Mr Arnold took full advantage of our unhappy situation. He was seemingly a nice guy, but a true ripoff artist to say the least!"
