"Worst Italian food I've had in my entire life. Everything was bland, the meat on the sandwiches and the ravioli tasted frozen. The Carbonara tasted like water and spaghetti. The service was very pleasant and my salad had nice fresh greens, but those were the only redeeming qualities."

"I've been on the hunt for a good Italian restaurant in the Kansas City area since moving here and I think I've finally found it! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the service was great! I had one of the pesto specials and would 100% get it again. If you're looking for somewhere cute and relaxing to have brunch or dinner, I would highly recommend giving Frank's of Parkville a try!"

"We dropped in for brunch on Sunday and had a delightful meal! We tried the Venetian eggs Benedict, the pasta with clams, and the bread pudding. Everything was delicious. We found Franks in Parkville when looking for a place that serves breakfast. It wasn’t too busy right after opening but got busier after an hour. Service was friendly, food was fantastic. Loved the cute building and the strip of businesses around. We came after a nice walk around the English Landing Park and along the river. The whole experience made for a delightful Sunday morning. After our walk we ran into family that live in the area and mentioned Franks. They told us it was great so we stopped in. After a couple cups of coffee we ordered, starting with the bread pudding which really was some of the best I’ve had. It reminded me a bit of the bread pudding they used to have at McCoys in Westport but this was more rum raisin than chocolate. The linguini with clams came with a choice of salad, the Caesar was delicious. The entrees came out and the linguini and clams were reminiscent of our family favorite in upstate NY, it was delicious and had a lovely sauce, the noodles were perfectly done. The Venetian Eggs Benedict were delightfully creative and well constructed, balanced and plated. The food was well executed with lots of flavor In everything and the restaurant had a great ambiance. I’d highly recommend checking Franks out!"

"The food is delicious. For appetizers you cannot go wrong with the calamari or the toasted ravioli. I get them every time. Every pasta dish I have had has been great - fettuccine, pasta with clams, salmon… you name it. YUM. It’s also very affordable - and free bread! Haha. I’m glad I live close. The area is so cute."
