"Took 2 of my kids to SmileShack for the first time this morning. As soon as my preschooler walked in with her 3ft skeleton, the girl at the front desk lit up and greeted us as if we had been there numerous times before. She and the rest of the staff really enjoyed seeing Baby Bones Jr. Jr. Jr. come in with my daughter for a check up. LOL Instantly felt comfortable and relaxed which isn't usually what most people feel walking into a dentist office. DR. Ballou with his backwards hat, was so incredibly kind, cool, laid back and even took the extra time to look me over when we were just there for the kids! I mentioned I'd most likely come back at a later date for myself as I've avoided the dentist for a VERY long time & without hesitation he asked to peek at my teeth. Next thing I know I'm getting X-rays done too and I'm laid back in the chair while he and his assistant looked a little further. We established a loose plan of what kind of work they can do at a later date for me. Which shockingly wasn't anywhere near as extensive as I had let myself imagine it would be. Very impressed with how genuine, comforting & go with the flow they all are, while being completely professional at the same time. They seem to have great options for payment plans for those who may not have insurance and they take Medicaid which is incredible! I'm looking forward to taking my twins in next week for their first visit! 100/10 highly recommend! If your kids are first timers and nervous or you're like me and have avoided the dentist for many years and are nervous about going, please do yourself a favor and go see Dr. B at SmileShack. You won't regret it! :)"
