"This review is for the flooring installation support (or ISP as they call it) of Lowes, not the store itself. This install covered stairs, 15 risers approximately 2 foot wide and a small bedroom in the basement. The installers sent out one person, this one person arrived at noon. Originally, Lowes had him scheduled to be done at 5 PM. At 6 PM. I started calling the store and telling the person in flooring this is going to take forever. I made two subsequent calls and then one at 9:55 PM told him the installation is still going on. Obviously there’s nothing the person at the store can do at this time so at least I got a hold of someone to let them know the situation. Then, approximately 20 minutes later, at 10:20 PM, the person was done with the carpet install mind you, this took 10 1/2 hours. I called the ISP department and asked for some compensation or a discount because of the length of the install and that it exceeded the timeframe by double of what they told me being 5 PM. I said give me a couple hundred bucks on a Lowe’s gift card and I’d be fine. They first responded with a $25 Lowe’s gift card which I assume was their attempt at insulting me, I told him that was unacceptable especially for the duration of time I had to wait and I gave up my Friday evening and missed some personal plans with my daughter. They then responded with $125 offer. I said make it 150 and we’re good because I got the guy food at Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell, dinner and a snack because it was such a long day. They said if I wanted $150 I needed fried receipts from Taco Bell and Chick-fil-A I said just give me 150 bucks. She said I need to speak to management, well 30 minutes more of waiting on hold while at my daughters softball game she gets back on the phone and tells me they won’t do it without the receipts. She also told me that it was a “same day install” so that it was fine. I reminded her that it took 5 1/2 hours past the time they initially said it would last until and it was 10:20 PM at night when he left, this far exceeds any reasonable time frame and is even outside the store hours, the ISP department then did not want to hear anymore especially once I said I was going to post this negative comment about the department and how terrible their customer service is in that department. I am going to make one more attempt to work with the ISP department and any further results, if any, will be posted in addition to this review."

"I'm here a lot most always freindly and patient employees but this time my mom came up here from out of town and Joe Bell help her find a miter saw for me. My mom had no idea want a miter saw is and has just finished up chemotherapy. He was so helpful and polite to her Joe was all she talked about the rest of the day. Thank you Joe Bell for being so helpful to her"

"Dean in flooring is great. He helped us when we were trying to pick out flooring for the remodeling that we did this past summer. He was so helpful and taught us so much before we made our final decision. Last weekend I went back & I was looking for bathroom towels hooks the website said they had them in stock. I met Don, his instore tool said they were actually on clearance, but they had none in the store. So, he helped me make a different choice. They worked out nicely. Also, I didn’t get his name in the paint, but he helped me pick out a little can of stain for a project that I was working on for the grandkids room. Everyone has been so helpful and I appreciate it because my dad is gone now and I don’t have my master carpenter to help me with things. Thank you Lowe’s!"
