"We checked it out after an ice storm, so we didn't stay long. Too slick! But during the summer, it's a great park, with nice boat launch area and plenty of parking. Nice day use area with tables and trails."

"Nice and short trail. The main trail is partly sunny and partly shaded, trail fits for strollers and bikes. There is a big field for dogs and a restroom. Bring a picnic basket and your family, there are so many places to sit and enjoy. There is plenty of parking space. There is a boat ramp and some nice beaches. The water was so warm today (8/19/23). I’m not sure how long the main loop is because we took a detour through one of the off road trails to the water and then back the same way (no outlet) to the main trail so total with our detour we walked about 3 miles."

"This is a cute place to have a picnic or to take your dog out. I wouldn't say this is a very scenic walk, as most of the trails are covered in branches and black berry bushes. This makes it hard to enjoy a simple walk through the trees with minimal access to the water."

"A very beautiful park! Very clean with restrooms and picnic tables! It is such a big wide open areas. There are multiple easy trails for walking. There are area for dogs to run around. Or you can even do fishing! The river is very pretty! It's a very family friendly park!"

"Nice park. Didn't have a chance to explore all of it. We hiked a 2 mile loop that took us by the river. We saw plenty of people with fishing poles so I guess this is a good place for fishing. There are lots of picnic areas, places for dogs to run, a pond with turtles, trees, grass and fields. Will definitely be returning."
