"An absolute treasure! Clean, slow moving river that is perfect for kids and their adults to splash around / swim in. We went on a Monday and it wasn’t crowded but I could see it being crowded on a weekend. We found a couple species of fish, water skippers and a crawdad. Bringing our floaties next time. We used a wagon to bring our stuff down (me and the two littles) and I would bring myself a chair next time. It’s rocky so sitting on a picnic blanket is a little bumpy."

"Very, very nice. The only problems were the slippery rocks, and trash on the trails."

"We love taking our kids here to throw rocks and float the river. It can get crowded during the weekends but not as much as George Rogers. Another perk is that it's usually always shaded!"
