"Still open Thursdays and Fridays. Great quality mulch for my garden and paths. Couldn't find a better price if I ground it myself. Hard times after covid for them out seems but Clark was super helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed."

"Truly the best customer service you will find anywhere in Oregon! Clark is so friendly but more importantly knowledgeable. I enjoyed my time chatting with him and his crew. I came here with only Google knowledge of how to care for my pond plants but left feeling confident that I was on the right track. The selection was scare but to be fair this has been a bad aphid year and supplies have been limited due to the pandemic, but still I was able to find a beautiful lily pad plant to take home. GUARANTEED WILL BE BACK."

"Great local place with a selection of beauty bark, assorted gravel, plants & trees. The owner seems knowledgeable about all things nursery. Their adding a green house and we're looking forward to checking it out when it's done."

"Spent many hundreds of dollars here on 17 big trees which were delivered in late fall with virtually no root system. The roots had been bound in tiny bags for less work field-digging for the owners (no running roots, so trees could easily be pulled out of the ground and sold). I was told these trees would be "fine," that all I had to do was stake these 8-foot-tall behemoths, that the roots would "take off." It was a lot of extra work. Planting itself was extra work, the bags being a struggle to get off because the roots had been restricted into dense and bizarre knobby little stubs. By early spring, ALL 17 TREES WERE DEAD. When I pulled the trees up, the roots had not grown at all; they were the same bizarre knobby little stubs I'd planted. When I contacted the owners about this, they actually seemed to question my contention that trees need roots. (!) No apologies, veiled hostility, and absolutely no refunds. I continued to try to contact them, writing them letters sent certified mail, which they received and ignored. Businesses which survive are fair to their customers. They deal with major fails and learn from them. Not so here. I gave them one star because I couldn't give them less, -- but Sutherlin Water Garden and Nursery deserves zero stars. -- This business is unethical. -- Completely unethical. Don't spend your money there. There's plenty-other nurseries around."
