"We make an annual trek here every winter to camp, as we enjoy the beach any time of year and it is less busy then. The showers are hot and the campground is well kept. We have a small RV and love the ocean view sites very much."

"I normally tent camp. But I was down for several days for work and needed something a bit more and didn’t want to pay for a hotel. In comes the only available Yurt at Harris Beach State Park. Nice campground. I have been before. Always as a tenter. But got my hybrid tent/hotel experience this time with a Yurt. New floors. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Campground and bathrooms and showers were very clean. Really close to Brookings. Great beach access. There is a playground nearby for kids and plenty of hiking near by as well. Only complaint is the firewood they sell sucks. It is super wet. So. Bring at least one bundle of dry wood if you buy from here. Mix the dry with on site wood to get fire going."

"Don't hesitate to stop by this place and spend time. Why? Just go and don't worry ,,, I couldn't stay for a long time because there is no RV parking lot, but there are really cool sights in the morning and it will be ecstatic to walk along the beautiful trail. strongly recommend this place"

"Excellent state park facility with friendly staff, quiet campers, amazing views, and good privacy. The shrubs between sites make the closeness of the camps feel quite secluded. The beach walking is a 10/10! We really enjoyed sun setting over the scenic coast. The water pressure in the showers is incredible too."

"Lovely, family friendly beach and campground. There is great tide pooling, especially in winter. We love to go at sunset when it’s less crowded and super peaceful. Facilities are nice and there is are a couple of spigots to rinse off. The campground has a cute playground and I love the rocky beach trail too. It’s more frequented by tourists than some other local breakers but there’s plenty of space and the appeal is totally understandable!"
