"I had a pretty good experience with Bench Craft Company but it could have been better with one simple action. After my bench ads got put up, I assumed my scorecard ad was at the pro shop and being distributed as well. To my surprise the scorecard they had in use did not have my ad on it. I called Bench Craft after my round and informed them of this. I was fairly impressed with how quickly I got a call back with an update. They tracked the scorecards to the golf course, spoke with the pro shop and tracked down the package. They even sent me a picture of my ad on a scorecard in the pro shop. I went back to the golf course the following week to hit some balls and verified my ad was indeed on the scorecard. It seems like this could be streamlined better once the shipment arrives so there is less run around. Overall, the ads looked good and the people I spoke with were quick and attentive. I will probably consider doing this again as I feel it is an affordable way to market my business."

"I needed a refund because my husband signed our small business up for a $495 tee marker without discussion. It didn't make sense to spend that money on advertising at this time. The man who answered the phone when I called customer service gave his name as "Justin Dee" at extension 353. He was disrespectful, belittling, and downright cruel. After I mentioned that we are a family owned business and pride aside, I need the money more for our kiddos right now, he made it into a "moral dilemma" and wielded his power to give refunds over me like some kind of sicko. He did give a refund, but only after I raised my voice and cried - and the zinger, he wouldn't agree to a refund until I agreed with him that the saleswoman's children are just as important as my own. Which I DO agree with! Every child should be fed and every parent should have the ability to provide! But tell me, why are we discussing this when I just need a refund for my one piddly tee marker, that zero ad work has been done on? You would think the possibility of our small business being a customer down the road would inspire customer service employees to treat ALL PEOPLE with kindness and compassion - or at least politeness. Because honestly, we would have tried the tee marker in 6-8 months when we were in a better spot financially. But "Justin Dee" made this personal, and as we were getting off the phone he said something to the effect of "your attitude is the reason your kids don't have the money you wish they did." WHAT?!?! You sad little man, you don't know me at all...but I see your character, and it is dark, sad and pitiful. I would never in a million years do business with this company because they employ someone so terrible in a client-facing position. DISGUSTING!"
