"New Renaissance bookshop is a new age store in an old Victorian style house. When I was walking through the front door, I thought the store was gonna be pretty small or something like that, but it was huge. There are tons of cool little nicknacks and stuff to look at. I thought I was just walking into a bookstore filled with books, but no, there were tons of little accessories such as wind chime's, Terrell cards, religious items of many different religions, crystals and rocks, chakra bowles, Jewelry, clothing, toys, and many other things to help with your mental health and well-being As well as your Speartriality. They have a Zen garden home décor section upstairs. Be careful because the stairs are a little creeky. If you do bring your kids, this store is kid friendly. If you want to know something about an item such as price or details, the staff is always there to help. Overall, I had a nice experience at this place, just looking around and exploring. And if you're curious too, I would suggest coming here and having a look for yourself to see what you can find."

"I love just walking into New Ren. It has such a loving vibration and miracles happen there. Read on for one of my miracles. I have never known how to play singing bowls and a staff member showed me. Wow! They are amazing. I am hooked! My partner bought me the one that sings and vibrates so perfectly for me! I play it all the time! My body loves it! Another day, I was at the store playing other bowls and sharing with the other guests. One guest I connected with enjoyed our bowl playing experience so much, she bought me the bowl that played so well for me! WOW! THAT was miraculous! And there are so many wonderful, beautiful, useful things to uplift life. It is such a relief to be in a place with such a loving vibration. "I've been gaining interest in metaphysical imagery, objects, and books lately, so of course I had to check out this store in Portland, known for its material. It has a large selection of books, and I was impressed by the different categories. I could get lost for hours looking around. They also had some pretty good books in the bargain section, from which I bought. I respect them for covering a bunch of different subject matter and spiritual systems. They even have books on the Enneagram, which I've not been able to find anywhere but online. The crystal selection is good too. Honestly, I did not have much contact with the employees besides paying for my cart, but they were kind enough. Maybe next time I visit I would be able to talk to them more, because I do intend to come back."
