"My mother died here. The place is dirty, staff sit around on their phones ignoring patients. She got covid within the first two weeks, the way that was dealt with was very bad. It's filthy..... I've told my family no matter what happens don't bring me here."

"My mom was here for rehab for her hip(2 mo), they almost killed her, they didn’t care for her in a humane manner, they didn’t do the simplest things, like making sure she had her hearing aids in, teeth brushed, glasses on, clean clothes daily or her hair brushed. instead of getting better she good worse. She got a broken thumb, fracture in her back and 2 bed sores. Don’t put your love ones here!! Also watch out for insurance fraud. The office people are very rude!! Don’t put anyone here!!!"

"I've been home from Regency Hermiston for a little over a week. And I can tell you that I truly dont believe I would be doing as good as I am now without the care and kindness I received while at their facility. All the staff was very accomodating, even though I wasn't the easiest patient to work with. I have severe anxiety, and had to stop taking my anxiety medication because of complications with another med I needed more. This made me fearful, of everything and untrusting of everyone. I fought each new thing they introduced. The nursing and therapy staff validated my fear, as they calmly worked me through it , before long i understood that they weren't going to let me fall, (my biggest fear), and were there to help. If I needed something, they did their best to see my need was met. My CNAs were friendly, helpful, and there when I needed them. Dont ever want to go to a facility again, but if I do, this is where I'd want to return to"

"This is a pitiful place to put any human being. I'm not even sure it is fit for an animal. The rooms are antiquated, at best. They are dismal. The RN nurses are, I suppose adequate, and apparently very overworked, and very shorthanded. The CNA's, don't seem to know what they are supposed to be doing, and some appear as disheveled and shuffled. Although friendly, not very helpful. Dispersing any pain medications, on time, is absolutely impossible, with a multitude of lame excuses. Usually figure on at least two hours behind, on a good day, and that is if you walk down to the RN 's station, and stand there waiting after asking. (This makes no difference even if your doctor requests an exact disbursement schedule.) The food looks deplorable. It is no wonder patients aren't eating. There are no adequate snacks, so be prepared to bring whatever food, drinks, or snacks in. Their ice water supply looks like it could never pass a health inspection, dipping into an large picnic cooler for ice behind the nurses station. I do think the physical therapists are fairly good, and try to be helpful. If you have ANY compassion for your loved one, do not put them at this facility. If you must, plan on staying with your loved one 24/7. Don't leave them alone. I could go on and and on. If you think this a bad review, I urge you to read more reviews on their site. Don't expect improvement with your loved one, in fact expect the complete opposite. If there were negative stars, this place would have a negative five star review!"

"Just recently I have had a family friend that lived up the street from my Papa move in. And hands down she has been getting the best care ever. The staff there are always willing to help her whenever she needs. Being a former CNA I have never seen a place give such dedicating work to their patients. It's amazing that Oregon has mandatory staffing ratios for cnas to patients where most states don't. This place deserves 5 stars."
