"I teach in my own airplane and rent an office in the GWA building, and fill my plane with their AVGas. It’s important to know that one of the former Gorge Winds clients trashing Delcy happens to be, at present, a fugitive from the FBI. Whereas Delcy is an Air Force Academy graduate and former Lt. Col. Also, she was my IFR instructor many years ago. You decide. You are quite simply not going to find a better flight school community than Gorge Winds. Gorge Winds teaches civilians, immigrants, foreign citizens and people of any ethnicity, gender or orientation."

"Recently went here to seek private training. Spoke with Delcy who apparently is in charge. I've never encountered such a rude and demeaning individual.. It was honestly unreal. I've taken lessons before and the vibe in this place was so different than my last school. The airplanes are dated and appear to be on their last breath. All I can recommend to Delcy is try smiling more. Will be going elsewhere."

"⭐️ATTENTION VETERANS⭐️ I’m a student at Gorge Winds. Im using my GI Bill to fund 100% of my flight training! I work full time at UPS and the CFI’s have worked around my schedule to attain my ratings. They do all of the paperwork for the VA to fund your training. The CFI’s here are great at getting you all trained up for the least amount of money. At my current pace - I expect to be able to receive my instrument, commercial, and ME without paying a dime out of pocket. Wet rates on their fleet are equal or cheaper than any other school in the Portland Metro Area. Plus a great and friendly towered environment to learn in! Beware of other flight schools in the area that accept GI Bill students… they will run your account dry in no time. I made the mistake of going to one, spending $14k to get my PPL; when I could have done it for MUCH less at Gorge Winds."

"For my husband's anniversary gift he went flying with Jason. An amazing experience. Our friends young son (11yrs) is very into plane so he came with us to see my husband off. Our pilot Jason took the young man let him sit in a plane showing him all the things. Such great customer service."
