"Memories and names of those who fought and died during the Second World War. I wish I had a vantage point (better) so I could've taken a picture if the obelisk and the lay out of the Earth."

"Located in a beautiful state park. Unfortunately due to water saving measures they've let the park go over the years & the fountains look like garbage. There's also construction going on near will soon park at the Capitol & it's a huge eye sore."

"This is a small memorial near the state's capitol. The WWII Memorial is worthwhile to see. I found it compact, but powerful. If you are in the area, it's a great place to reflect on the sacrifices made by great people many years ago. Unless you are a WWII history buff, this isn't something you would specifically go to Salem to see."
