"I lived here for just over 2 years or so. At first it wasnt the greatest admittedly. But management worked really hard to get the problem people out. They cleaned the place up, there was a homeless camp and they heard everyone and got rid of the camp. They have done SO much work the last year. Theres parks near by for kids. Restaurants in walking distance. The apartments are really big!! I unfortunately moved in before the remodel was done but my sister lives in the renovated apartment and it’s beautiful! Management is amazing! Very quick and responsive. I had a flood and he came on his day off after 10 pm to help me. They put me in one of the vacant apartments while it was being fixed. Any issues I have they address it immediately. Very friendly staff! I moved because on one income I couldn’t afford it."

"Undoubtedly the worst apartment complex I've ever experienced. Plethora of issues from beginning to end. Maintenance blunders that were not fixed prior to the lease starting, including a rusty old, dated kitchen oven that was completely broken, a "replacement" oven that was the exact same model with a dysfunctional stovetop that nearly set my wife on FIRE, a refrigerator that crapped out as soon as we moved in, disgusting globs of black mold that spat out of the guest bath jacuzzi jets the first time we tried using it, horrendous cigarette stench that rose up through the bathroom floors due to the downstairs neighbors smoking, and an even more rancid sewage odor that would stink up the master bathroom for unknown reasons, enough to make my poor wife ill. Technical issues aside, The apartment itself was exorbitantly priced, particularly when the quality of the apartment unit was mediocre at best. Communication from the leasing office was a total fiasco. We attempted to address all the issues to management, but they repeatedly dodged our calls and emails. Eventually, I had to escalate it to corporate management until the area manager was finally able to respond and find a resolution. When we finally had enough and decided to move out after merely a year, we were promised a prorated refund check with the remaining security deposit amount on top, 7-10 days after the end of the lease. 12 days had passed, and no check to be found. I made frequent attempts to reach out to Dan from the leasing office to find out why there was a delay, and he proceeded to ignore my messages. Prior to this, when I returned the keys to the office, Dan told me right to my face that he would let me know how much of our security deposit would be deducted after the inspection, though he never followed up. We had to reach out to Melissa from Guardian Properties regarding the refund check, as Dan remained silent. Turns out the corporate office didn't even HAVE our current forwarding address on file, so exactly where did the money go when it was first issued? When the check finally arrived after almost 2 months, it was only $145. The absolute minimum amount should have been $300 for the refund alone, and yet we received $145 total??? Now I know why Dan avoided communication for so long. Clearly they took the rest of the money they owed us and tried to be sneaky about it. Incredibly dishonest behavior. Terrible place to live, avoid this dumpster fire at all costs."

"When we lived here management was horrible. We were overcharged for a unit that had black mold in the tub, a stove that would catch on fire, we didn't have heat for the longest time and our fridge went out as soon as we moved in. Our neighbors below us were heavy smokers and the smoke would come up through the floor in the guest bathroom and our bathroom always smelled like smoke even though my husband and I are not smokers. This is supposed to be a non-smoking apartment. When we eventually moved out, we were told we would be getting a prorated rate along with the security deposit back. There was a small scratch on the floor that needed to be replaced and we were told they would get back to us in a week to let us know how much we would be getting back. A week came and went, and my husband tried calling and emailing Dan the apartment manager several times with no response. finally, my husband got a response saying our check had been mailed out, but he wouldn't let us know how much we would be getting back. Well, another week came and went, and we received nothing. My husband made sure he had our forwarding address as we had also changed it through UPS. He told us he did. almost 3 months later no check. We continued to try to contact the leasing manager and got no response. My husband had to contact the property manager Melissa and she seemed to not know what was going on. She said it looked like the check was mailed out but there was no forwarding address on file which makes no sense. Where would it have gone than? Why were we told by the apartment manager that they had our forwarding address? We than had to give it to her and she told us she had to reach out to make sure the check wasn't already cashed.... which it wouldn't have been by us. A week later she confirmed it has been mailed out and we just recently received it. It makes sense now why the delay and the not telling us how much we would get back as we only received a small amount. They took the rest of our money that they still owed us. I have rented many apartments before, and this is by far the worst complex I have ever been at. Please if you are considering moving here look elsewhere. Also, if you have kids, it's not a safe place to live as you constantly hear gunshots outside our window."

"I have lived at Amber Court with my wife for a year now and we just came back after our lease ran up. The environment is really friendly and a number of the neighbors we have had are too. The units we have been in are clean and kept up to date too. We started out in an apartment here next to the main road of Baseline which I will say had it's drawbacks due to the noise from the always ongoing traffic at all hours (you would be surprised at night traffic past midnight), and even the parking situation would have its moments because there is a lot of cars vs the parking spaces (This can be managed tho once you learn the ins and outs). However, we really liked the unit and the space it had inside. Maintenance would always come and do a great job whenever a need came up, and the apartment management was always nice to us and willing to hear us out or answer any questions we might have. There is no smoking allowed inside the complex, but there are areas out on the sidewalk near the entrance of the complex where spaces have been made available for those that do (We dont but know others do for various reasons. We had spent a little time in one conplex that did allow it inside the conplex and we felt we couldnt have our patio door open due to the smoke. Here is better, and we tend to feel safe too.) We just moved into a different unit that is more central and we are very happy with the location and are really glad to be back, it feels like home. (Huge thank you to Dan our Manager, to Chris in maintenance, and to everyone else in maintenance too)"

"Not very good at all. Very thin walls that you can hear everything (emphasis on everything) through. I woke up every single morning when our upstairs neighbor started getting ready for work at 5am because the floors are so thin. The parking is very limited and I frequently had to park super far away in a neighborhood and walk in the cold/dark, which is not fun as a woman. The interior was average. The people living here are just generally really loud and a little obnoxious."
