"My bf and I went tide pooling on the morning of November 29th. We saw some bright green sea anemone, some hermit crabs, and some sea snails, but no starfish! I asked an employee at the Seattle Aquarium about the lack of starfish here, because other reviews mention starfish, and she said that starfish wasting disease has been bad this year due to warmer waters for longer. So the starfish either had to move into deeper/colder waters to survive, or passed away. I hope to see some next year! The beach is beautiful regardless and a gorgeous drive to get there."

"Small but lovely beach. The hiking trail was very peaceful and beautiful but there were numerous fallen trees blocking the path which was a bit frustrating and inconvenient."

"Stunning views and so many starfish and anemones at low tide! We came around sunset and saw a ton of surfers as well. More of a rock beach than a shell beach. From the parking area ($5 day use fee), you can follow along the trails or take the stairs down to the beach."

"I recommend going at low tide to see the tide pools. The road to get here is narrow and a lot of people around here drive trucks or campers, so drive carefully. Parking is $5.00 unless you have the pass"

"Beautiful place to visit. It's a nice beach, and there is a fun trail to hike up to look over the ocean and a few lookouts to see the light house out on the ocean"
