"If you plan on moving or visiting lane county be advised the meth cooking is completely out of hand. The law changed and it is legal to possess a very small amount but the Eugene police are refusing to do ANYTHING ABOUT THE METH COOKS!!!!! NO METH COOKS NO METH SMOKING!!! I went to the ER from chemical exposure!!! My upstairs neighbor cooks meth and neighbor above him cooks meth and THIS IS A FEDERAL SUBSIDIZED BRAND NEW BUILDING!!!! Market District commons in the pricey market district.. CANT GET THE POLICE TO HELP ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM. IM ELDERLY WITH CANCER AND HEART FAILURE FROM THE CANCER TREATMENTS. MY HOME AND MONEY WAS EATEN UP BY CANCER TREATMENTS SO NOW IM BEING KILLED BY THE METH VAPORS EVERYDAY,, ALL DAY. They charge big money for homes and apartments but fail to tell you about the huge METH PROBLEM.They say you will learn to live with it. These are not cheap places but I'm not going to pay $1000-2000 per month for everything you own to smell like meth. Scary tweakers bringing the property value down."

"I'd spend more time in eugene shopping and eating out at the various restaurants downtown if it wasn't for the horrendous lack of public restrooms available. Parking downtown is extortion, a quater doesn't even get you enough time on the meter to walk around the block non stop once. Dealing with the parking tickets are not easy either to encourage you to just pay them currency and be done with it. All previously paid for by tax payers public amenities have been removed from downtown eugene."
