"I was having a nervous breakdown and was told I couldn't see anyone right away. I get it that they have other people to attend to. I was suicidal and I needed immediate help. Just told to go to er. Dont get me started about the service at the hospital. Treated like I was a lowlife. Moved from Albany to Portland and I got the best care right away."

"I have been working with Dr. Mitchell of Samaritan Mental Health for over a year and prior to that I worked with a different provider. They are competent and professional and care deeply about their patients. Specifically Dr. Mitchell is very technically knowledgeable and a great listener, she considers and remembers what you talk about and involves the patient in making decisions about their own care while giving them good information about the options. She is encouraging and realistic and I feel like I am healthier not just because of what she does for me as a doctor but because she is my doctor. I highly recommend Samaritan Mental Health."

"*I have my first appointment coming up. * Samaritan Mental Health in Albany, Oregon sent me mental health paperwork to fill out before my upcoming appointment. *They did not include my HIPPA Privacy Rights and Patient Rights with the paperwork they mailed to me. * I had to call the office and tell them to give me a copy of my HIPPA Privacy Rights and Patient Rights. Shouldn't your HIPPA Privacy Rights and Patient Rights be included with your mental health/physical health paperwork (the paperwork you need to fill out before your first appointment with your doctor/nurse practitioner)? * I just hope my doctor follows a person centered collaborative approach to care."
