The clinic brings together the expertise of four independent healthcare providers: Dr. Remington, Dr. Hoover, FNP Evers, and Dr. Lucas. With a combined experience of over 75 years serving the Dallas community, our providers prioritize personalized care for each patient.

Dr. Hoover, a Doctor of Osteopathy, has a background in diabetes research and has served in the military, providing care in Iraq. Dr. Lucas, a Flight Surgeon and Colonel in the United States Air Force, has a strong military background and extensive medical training. FNP Evers, a Family Nurse Practitioner, is dedicated to promoting holistic health and preventive care. Dr. Remington, a marathon runner and Taekwondo black belt holder, has been in private practice since 2004 and recently joined Compass Medical Clinic.

At Compass Medical Clinic, patients can expect individualized care from a familiar provider and medical assistant. The clinic is committed to addressing patients' needs and concerns promptly, with a physician on call after hours. I'd look for another dr office if I was you just to save yourself from their scrappy receptionists. Their communication for test results or any results is horrible. Glad me and my family are done with this office."

"I was a patient of this clinic. Then I was informed I need to change providers within. I agreed to the change. They did not let me know that I needed to see the new doctor in a certain amount of time and dropped me unexpectedly as a patient. I don’t recommend this doctors office."

"My parents are patients at Compass Medical because it was one of the only places they could get in with Medicare insurance. They enjoy visiting with Doctor Lucas, but his medical staff especially the front desk receptionist are a nightmare! They are incompetent, frustratingly rude and show no empathy towards elderly patients. They don't always answer the phone and make it difficult to communicate with them. They are also slow to communicate test results. I am helping my parents to look for a new primary care facility."
