"Probably the worst vision shop that I have ever been to. From the moment that I stepped in their office, the feeling that I got was that the people that worked here act like they are better than you. There is this attitude that is very off putting. I should have turned around and left at this point. The doctor gives me a diagnosis that is very concerning, but just gave me a pamphlet and told me to take vitamins. When I tried to call them for more information, the receptionist told me that she would send me the chart notes through my portal account. The chart notes are what I already knew and were limited. She told me that I could also call back the next day. This brings me to my next issue, about 90% of the time when I try and call this shop, it goes to voicemail. I have also called this office, the person picked up, and then they immediately hung up. It is very hard to reach someone on the phone here. I went to pick out some glasses and the person who helped me really did help me pick out the right glasses, so I give them credit for this. However, I paid and they gave me a basic receipt that did not include the items on it. They told me that they would give me an itemized receipt when I picked up the glasses. After I got a quote on some glasses, I left to think it over, came back and the lady could not find the glasses that I wanted to purchase. It made me feel like I couldn't trust this place, so I asked again for an itemized receipt. This is where it gets good. After calling several times, because they won't pick up their phone, they told me they would send the receipt through a portal account. I go and look at the receipt and they overcharged me! They then told me that they would credit my account with them for the difference. At this point, I am thinking I won't be back and so I push the issue. They send me a paper check in the mail. I gave this place far too many chances. I had to call my general doctor's office to find out more about the diagnosis. The receptionist knew right away what I needed and told me that I should be looking to visit a specialist. Why did ABC Vision not refer me to one?"
