Providence Immediate Care - Sherwood

"So, I started yesterday with a provider and a team. I've had for a few years, a good one, one I thought that knew me. Today was quite the spit in the face. I didn't have one negative thing to say about this place or providence before today. I've never once felt this much like a number... and I'm a veteran, where I was literally a number. I would share more about what happened. What would that change? I wish them well. Good people work here, though. I'm just screwed, not them. They will forget I exist by the time you read this message."

"I’ve never been treated so horribly by a doctor before that I felt inclined to leave a review. Having just switched to providence health insurance, I’ve had a hard time finding a new primary care doctor to get my regular prescriptions refilled because of all the doctors in the area being full. I came here in hopes that they could help - instead she shamed me about medications I’ve been on for 15 years, treated me like a drug addict and told me “nobody in providence will refill these for you”. Disgusting treatment to receive from a professional that left me feeling very uncomfortable in her presence. Piper H Sullivan, PA is unprofessional, to say the least. I left this clinic humiliated and in tears, I would suggest going anywhere else if you can."

"All the MD and RN’s, all the STAFF here have all been wonderful. I took my daughter in for a broken collarbone, they were quick and efficient to help her. I took my kids grandma in for issues she’s been struggling to get her regular pcp to follow up testing on but no tests or referrals were ordered. I had time, took her in and Lindsay Megan Sparks, MD ordered her CT and labs on the spot. She addressed all our concerns and found multiple masses in her uterus. With as terrible as that is, she at least has some answers for the pains she’s been suffering with that nobody else felt the need to do a single CT scan after many years. I will forever be grateful. They have taken care of all of us a few times!"

"Don’t go here if your kid is in dental pain and can’t get into the dentist. They’ll treat you like a drug addict and make up some rule about being unable to give minors pain medication. I don’t think I’ll ever be back here I am EXTREMELY offended. They put their personal judgment above the care of my kid. UNACCEPTABLE."

"This place was bad before covid and now I’d rather go to a rest stop. Like most things in the Portland area these days, the care you get depends on how many jabs you have. If you have none, well…. Expect a swift assessment (hardly), bing bang bong and out the door. Didn’t even get discharge paperwork or told what my vitals were. Got a good chuckle out of this sign on the door…. Although it should read…”the best patient experience ….if vaccinated.” I sure hope the divisiveness and poor treatment of people come to an end here soon no matter what side of this virus your on. My faith in the medical field is rapidly going away. Update: Just received the MyChart message and there is a laundry list of things they said they did that they didn’t… like check my breathing and lungs, spo2, etc…. Guess they just wrote those down so they could still bill for them. I will be challenging this bill for sure."
